A New Patient Safety Grant Announcement

The APSF announces a new patient safety grant in collaboration with the following:

American Society of Anesthesiologists	Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research	Orthopedic Research and Education Foundation

American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons	Cigna Foundation

These organizations encourage proposals that study unique safety issues in orthopedic surgical patients and the potential impact of various perioperative surgical home models on their outcomes. The grant partners invite applications that identify and mitigate risks. New and junior investigators who have demonstrated a sustained interest in research and excellence in their training are encouraged to apply.

The grant provides $135,000 over a 2-year period. Applications must be received no later than March 14, 2017. Visit the OREF website for more information.
