  • American Heart Association (AHA)
The most recent guidelines (2020) for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency cardiovascular care from the American Heart Association. These guidelines detail recommendations for the use of the manual external defibrillator (defibrillation, synchronized cardioversion, and transcutaneous pacing) in the different ACLS algorithms.
  • European Resuscitation Council (ERC)
The most recent guidelines (2021) for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency cardiovascular care from the European Resuscitation Council. These guidelines detail their recommendations regarding the use of the manual external defibrillator in advanced life support. Specific details include information on pad placement, energy recommendations, and more.
  • Heart Rhythm Society (HRS)
The most recent guidelines (2011) regarding the management of patients with cardiovascular implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) during and after surgical or medical procedures.
