Kelly McQueen, MD, MPH is a professor in anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her career has focused on Global Anesthesia for 25 years, and her recent work is committed to improving Global Patient Safety, and studying related outcomes such as Preoperative Mortality Rates in Low and Middle-Income Countries. She is the Director of Vanderbilt Anesthesia Global Health and Development and the Vanderbilt Global Anesthesia Fellowship. See her work described on the 2017 Ted stage here.
