Nicole Moore, MSA, CAA

Nicole Moore is a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant who has been practicing anesthesiology since 2017. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Engineering from The Ohio State University before completing her Master of Science in Anesthesia at Case Western Reserve University through its Washington, DC campus. Nicole has been actively involved in professional advocacy and leadership, serving as Legislative Committee Chair and later President of the American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants in 2025. Clinically, she previously served as Director of Anesthesia APPs at George Washington University Hospital, where she collaborated with departmental leadership to advance best practices within the Anesthesia Care Team model. She currently practices at Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital. Since graduating, Nicole has remained involved with the Case Western MSA program as a guest lecturer and adjunct faculty member, supporting simulation-based education before joining the program full time as Co-Director of Didactics. Her educational work has focused on developing systematic approaches to patient safety training and minimizing safety events involving learners in the operating room. She is passionate about collaborating with professional organizations to advance patient safety and promote excellence in anesthetic practice.
