Michael Walsh, MD, is an anesthesiologist with the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Walsh received his medical degree from Indiana University and did his anesthesia residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. His particular interests are in ambulatory anesthesia and difficult airway management. Walsh is a past president of the Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia and current board member. Previous positions include former chair of the SAMBA office based committee and the American Society of Anesthesiologists ambulatory care committee. He is the current SAMBA delegate to the ASA and a past president of the Minnesota Society of Anesthesiologists.
